Ben Qutuz Brothers in Frustration Land by Émile Bravo!! (read all 10 pages by clicking the link)

really twisted and not as affectionate as Spirou or Jules ha ha, still very precocious with that glacial humor that I love him for

yeah this is so tragic… Questions about radicalism, and the infiltration with of Western values, stupidity of youth, stupidity of people…

I rented MOME 6 from the library it’s not very good I pretty much just got it for Bravo and Trondheim

….jesus christ :(

Dark, very very very very dark humour.

Not so much ‘dark’ it feels to me as ‘resigned.’

I say that intentionally.
I am not a lesbian. Not bi. Not straight. Not pan. Not gay.
I am queer. Intentionally. I intentionally use this term although others may apply.
Because being queer is political. It is fucking shit up. It is reconstructing broken elements. It is loving multiple sexes and genders and expressions, alone and simultaneously.
When I fuck my partner it is queer. When I am fucked it is queer. When I fuck myself it is queer.
My dress is just as queer as my combat boots.
I am always queer. Intentionally.

Julie D’Aubigny was a 17th-century bisexual French opera singer and fencing master who killed or wounded at least ten men in life-or-death duels, performed nightly shows on the biggest and most highly-respected opera stage in the world, and once took the Holy Orders just so that she could sneak into a convent and bang a nun. If nothing in that sentence at least marginally interests you, I have no idea why you’re visiting this website. (via Badass of the Week: Julie D’Aubigny, La Maupin)

I’m going to need a movie based on her life. Someone ought to get on to that.

Thisss

Nostalgia hit.

Has it been 2 years already? That montage scene…worked on it with Alessandro Carloni, head of story. I can claim part of 1, then pretty much all of 3-4 and 5. Alessandro worked out the other beats (though another artist may have also have some input, perhaps for 6).

Thank heavens for animators, who make sense of doodles and turn it into gold.

ha ha, I just noticed Tuffnut rolling away on the ground in 8!

I wish I wish I had a Gronckle.
